I live in the always lively Nijmegen with my wife and three children. We love to fire up the barbecue here and have some friends over. Enjoying food with company is, for me, the ultimate way to spend my free time. Food, in general, is one of my greatest passions in life, as I’m always on the lookout for the finest flavors, the most surprising food combinations, and the latest food trends. You’ll often find me in the kitchen, cooking away. A food tour through Japan and cooking with Sergio Hermans are high on my wish list. But fishing in the Bering Sea and a road trip through South America are just as high on that bucket list.
