The history of Haldu Groep
Establishment of ‘Halkers Groesbeek B.V.’
1999
In 1999, the foundation for what is now Haldu Groep was laid with the establishment of ‘Halkers Groesbeek B.V.’. A family business that started in a small building reminiscent of a chicken coop and focused on recruiting roofers and finishing contractors. Halkers was founded by Hans van Hal, the father of the current CEO Danny van Hal and husband of CFO/COO Angelique van Hal.
2002
Angelique joins Halkers
In 2002, Hans van Hal managed to persuade Angelique Meertens to come work for him. Initially, this was only on Saturdays. However, it was not just an ordinary Saturday job, as Angelique was responsible for the payroll of the workers on that day. Halkers grew; this resulted in more payrolls, but simultaneously too little time to complete all the payrolls in one Saturday. Eventually, Angelique decided to work for Haldu Groep during the week. This is how things started to take off.
2003
Establishment of Duoflex Bouwondersteuning B.V.
In 2003, Duoflex Bouwondersteuning B.V. was established by Caspar Jansen. Duoflex focuses on recruiting personnel for the construction industry.
2007
Establishment of Gromada B.V.
In 2007, Gromada B.V. was established by Danny van Hal. Gromada focuses on recruiting personnel for the engineering sector.
2010
Merger of the Companies
In 2010, the proud owners/directors Hans van Hal, Caspar Jansen, and Danny van Hal combined their companies Halkers, Gromada, and Duoflex, resulting in the creation of Haldu Groep. Through this merger, Haldu Groep now focuses entirely on the construction and engineering sectors.
2013
Move to Hulsbroek 30 in Groesbeek, Netherlands
In June 2013, Haldu Groep moved to a large professional building at Hulsbroek 30 on the industrial estate in Groesbeek. The building was officially opened by the mayor.
February 2013
Haldu Groep Acquires Flexaforte
In February, Haldu Groep acquired the Nijmegen-based company Flexaforte. With this acquisition, Haldu Groep expanded its focus to include not only construction and engineering but also the automotive sector.
March 2013
Haldu Groep Acquires Welcam Personal
In March 2013, Haldu Groep acquired Welcam Personal from Kleve, Germany. This acquisition allowed Haldu Groep to enhance its relationship with clients in the Netherlands and Germany by providing them with reliable temporary staff for the technical sector, both now and in the future.
2015
Haldu Groep Launches Magazine ‘Hallo’
In 2015, Haldu Groep launched the magazine ‘Hallo’. This publication marks a new phase in the now five-year-old company following the merger in 2010.

Haldu Groep Organizes ‘Employee Day’
In 2016, Haldu Groep organized the ‘Employee Day’ for the first time.
2018
Hans van Hal Steps Back
In 2018, Hans van Hal stepped down as director of Haldu Groep and gradually transitioned into a new role as advisor and accounts receivable manager.
2019
Belgian IMPACT Takes Majority Stake in Haldu Groep
The Belgian staffing organization Impact has acquired a majority stake in Haldu Groep.
December 2019
Caspar Jansen Retires
In December 2019, Caspar Jansen retired and left Haldu Groep.
February 2020
Haldu Groep Acquires DeGraaf
In 2020, Haldu Groep reached an agreement with DeGraaf to acquire several standalone activities related to the staffing of technical personnel in the Netherlands, specifically in the fields of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, installation technology, metal, and industry.
October 2020
Angelique van Hal Appointed as General Director of Haldu Groep
In October 2020, Angelique van Hal was appointed as CFO/COO. Along with Danny van Hal (CEO) and Hans van Hal (advisor), they make up the executive board of Haldu Groep.
December 2022
Hans van Hal Receives His Own Boulevard
In honor of his 69th birthday, Hans van Hal was presented with his own boulevard/street sign as a gift from the Haldu Groep employees. It is now proudly displayed in the company’s warehouse.
2023
Haldu Groep Fully Independent from the Power Grid
With the installation of 88 solar panels, Haldu Groep’s office in Groesbeek is now completely independent of the power grid.
January 2024
Establishment of Haldu ZZP Services
Starting in January 2024, Haldu Groep is also focusing on freelance (ZZP) mediation. A separate website has been launched for this purpose, which can be visited at: www.halduzzp.nl
