Urgently Hiring: High & Medium Voltage Electrician – Groningen, Netherlands
Information about the position:
Are you an experienced electrician looking to contribute to the energy infrastructure of the Netherlands? For projects in Groningen, we are looking for a High & Medium Voltage Electrician with experience in power distribution installations.
In this role, you will work on the installations that form the foundation of the electrical grid. You will be responsible for assembling, connecting, maintaining, and positioning essential components within substations. Safety, quality, and precision are central to your daily work.
What will you do?
- Install and connect high- and medium-voltage installations
- Install and maintain transformers
- Work with circuit breakers, disconnectors, and busbar systems
- Connect underground cables and other power connections
- Perform maintenance and inspection work at substations
- Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Check installations for quality, functionality, and safety
- Identify and resolve technical faults
- Collaborate with electricians, team leaders, and other specialists on site
What do we ask?
- Proven experience as an electrician in the energy, industrial, or infrastructure sector
- Knowledge of high- and medium-voltage installations
- Experience with transformers, circuit breakers, and power distribution is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- VCA certificate or willingness to obtain one
- Category B driving licence
- Good command of Dutch or English
- Responsible, independent, and safety-focused attitude
