Scaffolder job, Netherlands
Information about the position:
A Scaffolder plays a vital role in construction projects by assembling and dismantling the temporary structures that allow other workers to perform tasks at height safely. In this role, you will work on residential house building projects, erecting and maintaining scaffolding around houses to provide secure platforms for the construction crew. The position requires prior scaffolding experience and strict adherence to safety standards, ensuring all scaffolds are stable and compliant with regulations. You will also work closely with the construction team to support various project phases and maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for:
- Assemble and dismantle scaffolding structures on residential construction sites, building safe work platforms according to project plans and safety guidelines.
- Alter and adjust scaffolds as needed during different phases of construction to ensure appropriate access and stability for all work areas.
- Ensure stability and safety of all scaffolding by properly securing bases, bracing frames, and installing guard rails or netting as required.
- Inspect scaffolding daily for any weaknesses, damage, or hazards, and address issues immediately to maintain a safe job site.
- Maintain scaffolding equipment by keeping track of components, ensuring tools are in good condition, and reporting any defects or maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a scaffolder or in a similar construction role, with the ability to demonstrate competent scaffold assembly and dismantling skills.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques and safety procedures, including a solid understanding of construction site safety regulations and working-at-heights guidelines.
- Excellent balance, coordination, and attention to detail to ensure precision and safety when building and inspecting scaffolds.
